The 'old sitting room' at the north end of the cottage is great for relaxing in front of the coal fire on a rainy day. A good selection of books, games and children's art materials is available.

The kitchen is well-equipped, with an electric cooker, bread-maker, washer / dryer, fridge, dining table and chairs.

The downstairs shower room includes a toilet and handbasin.

The rooms in the original part of the cottage are wood-lined with the traditional tongue and groove v-boarding. To the rear of the cottage there is a large enclosed garden. Bed linen and tea-towels are provided. We ask that you bring your own towels. Electricity is included in the price. There is no TV in the cottage, however there is free WiFi for guests. There is a landline telephone, which can accept incoming calls and guests can make local calls (no charge). Please note that there is little or no mobile phone reception in Applecross. No smoking inside the cottage please, and sorry no pets, due to the close proximity of sheep and lambs.
